How We Are Keeping
Staff and Patients Safe

The number one priority of the Edmonton Bone and Joint Centre is the safety of our staff and patients. As such, we’ve implemented a number of measures at our clinic to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

  • Effective January 11th, patients will once again be seen in-person. Some physicians have elected to continue seeing patients virtually when possible. Please contact your team if you have questions regarding this.
  • In order to minimize our risk of exposure, patients attending in-person appointments are NOT allowed to bring in a “buddy” unless they need help with translation, are hard of hearing, or have other cognitive/physical concerns that require assistance. Please talk to your surgical team in advance if this is the case.
  • All staff and patients are required to wear a mask while attending our clinic. If you are unable to mask, please contact our staff about the possibility of a virtual appointment.
  • Our staff maintains rigorous sanitization protocols. Hand sanitizer and hand-washing facilities are readily available to our patients.

Please note that these policies are subject to change as the pandemic evolves. If you have any questions about our COVID-19 protocols, please contact our front desk at (780) 433-3155 or your surgeon’s team members.
