The number one priority of the Edmonton Bone and Joint Centre is the safety of our staff and patients. As such, we’ve implemented a number of measures at our clinic to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
- Effective January 11th, patients will once again be seen in-person. Some physicians have elected to continue seeing patients virtually when possible. Please contact your team if you have questions regarding this.
- In order to minimize our risk of exposure, patients attending in-person appointments are NOT allowed to bring in a “buddy” unless they need help with translation, are hard of hearing, or have other cognitive/physical concerns that require assistance. Please talk to your surgical team in advance if this is the case.
- All staff and patients are required to wear a mask while attending our clinic. If you are unable to mask, please contact our staff about the possibility of a virtual appointment.
- Our staff maintains rigorous sanitization protocols. Hand sanitizer and hand-washing facilities are readily available to our patients.
Please note that these policies are subject to change as the pandemic evolves. If you have any questions about our COVID-19 protocols, please contact our front desk at (780) 433-3155 or your surgeon’s team members.
